We spent 10 weeks in
Australia, from May to July 2001. It was, by far, the best trip we've
ever had. We visited all the big cities and enjoyed them all. We
liked Melbourne best of all . We kept extending our
Melbourne stay to almost a whole month. We met some wonderful people
with whom I'm still in touch. By far, the best meal we had is the one we're enjoying in the picture at right, in the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant. It's a tram, otherwise known as street car or trolley car, fitted out as a restaurant. It holds 32 diners and travels around Melbourne as dinner is served. It was wonderful. |
