 February 27, 2006. In Wilson Hospital's infusion center receiving a blood transfusion. There were many, many of these sessions. A blood transfusion took about 4 hours. For a while, she had 2 a week. From time to time, she received platelets transfusions also. In addition to the transfusions, she received Dacogen infusions, about 2 hours a day for 7 days, every 4 weeks. |
