So,
on June 15, 1952, we were married
at the Society for the Advancement of Judaism. It was a hot day. As far
as I'm concerned, it might have been the hottest June 15th in
the history of N.Y.C. And there was no air-conditioning. There weren't
even any windows to open. But, after a lecture from the rabbi to stick
together through all the coming hardships, we were wed. For better or
for worse. Better happened right away. Fortunately, it took a
while for worse. |
