Mid
70's

With
the help of Libby and Harry, we bought a funny little pink house and
hired a contractor to enlarge it by almost half a house. I had been
commuting to Binghamton, weekly, for months before we moved. Sandy was
so concerned about the backwards, or backwoods, area into which we were
going that she purchased the kitchen sink and the shutters on Long
Island, for fear that they would not be available in Binghamton. |
It
worked out well, and it became a very comfortable home. The garage is
still in its original spot, but you now have to drive past the laundry
room to get to it.
I opened Binghamton's first copy center. |
